Our bodies are constantly giving us feedback through how we feel, our vitality, our skin texture, our moods.
When we are aware of the way our bodies are always communicating with us it becomes a powerful tool to help support our health. The key is not to become frustrated and shoot the messenger, instead recognise our body is telling us something and we likely need to look at our diet and lifestyle factors for the answers.
This is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself, you are the CEO of your health and your body. You are not your genetics, they are 10% of the equation. Genetics load the gun and our epigenetics fire the trigger - how empowering is the epigenetics movement in science! We have so much power! We are 90% responsible for our health through our diet, movement, detoxification, sleep and mindset. We are in the drivers seat of our own health.
All of the knowledge of health and wellness doesn’t do us any good until we close that gap between what we know and what we do. As Bob Proctor calls it, the knowing/doing gap. It is about what we do daily to support our health and wellness that will give us the results and health we want. We encourage you to look at how much you value your health and get honest about your actions to ensure they are aligned with your values. Small daily changes amount to huge health improvements.
